Dan is a distinguished financial executive with over 30 years of expertise in mergers and acquisitions, franchise development, and business advisory services. As a Principal at C Squared Advisors, Dan plays a pivotal role in driving the firm’s mission to maximize the value of multi-unit franchise businesses.

At C Squared Advisors, Dan specializes in delivering comprehensive solutions across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, valuations, private financing, recapitalizations, and restructuring. His deep industry knowledge and strategic insights, combined with the firm’s 100 years of experience, enable him to effectively execute complex transactions and enhance client success. Dan’s leadership and innovative approach have been instrumental in helping clients navigate the intricate dynamics of franchise operations and achieve their financial goals.

Before joining C Squared Advisors, Dan served as a Managing Director at JCM Franchise Development LLC, where he spearheaded the Franchise Development division. During his tenure, Dan’s leadership was key in executing over $300 million in M&A transactions, with a significant focus on the Dunkin’ Donuts sector. His strategic oversight and management in his role further solidified his reputation as a leading expert in franchise M&A and new business development for prominent franchise brands.

Dan’s career also includes a notable tenure at Dunkin’ Brands, where he was integral in the acquisition and disposition of Dunkin’ restaurants in New England. He managed over 150 store transfers, overseeing complex valuations, lease negotiations, and debt restructurings. Dan’s adept handling of these transactions ensured smooth transitions and maximized value for all stakeholders involved.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dan is committed to philanthropic endeavors, actively supporting organizations such as the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation and the Wendy’s Dave Thomas Foundation.
